Telfair County Chamber of Commerce

The Telfair County Chamber of Commerce announces the 2021 Administrative Professional of the Year winner.

Barbie Mullis was awarded the 2021 Administrative Professional of the Year on Wednesday, April 22, 2021 by the Telfair County Chamber of Commerce.  She has been employed with Stamps-Walker Agency for 30 years.

Nomination letters submitted by Mullis’ co-workers showered her with praise.

Co-worker, Caitlin Walker: “Barbie greets our customers with a smile and a sincere want-to-help in any way possible.  She extends her knowledge to all our employees, and often times takes on more than her responsibilities within our office.”

Co-worker, Brian Walker: “If Barbie doesn’t know how to do it, it can’t be done.”

Co-worker, Hollyn Batchelor: “She works tirelessly to giver her best work effort even when the task is overbearing. She is honest, trustworthy, and one of the most reliable people I know. Barbie has helped to build the professional relationship of Stamps-Walker with the community for years and a portion of their success comes from her dedication and hard work”

Co-worker, Jessica Hendrix: “Barbie isn’t just my co-worker. She’s family.”

In addition to the plaque presented by the Telfair County Chamber of Commerce, Joy’s Flowers and Gifts donated a beautiful hanging basket to Barbie.
