The 2015 Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale (SM) was a great success for Telfair County, GA. This event continues to grow each year. The Telfair County Chamber of Commerce would like to say "Thank You" to all the official participants of the 2015 event.
The official participants have helped to insure that this event will
continue in Telfair county, GA.
The Telfair County Chamber of Commerce is again asking all yard sale vendors, during the 2016 Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale (SM) to apply to be "OFFICIAL VENDORS" by appling for official space, sites or signs through the Chamber. Official vendor/site fees help the Golden Isles Parkway Association, Inc. (GIPA) and the Chamber pay for advertisement for this event. GIPA is comprised of volunteers dedicated to promoting the vast potential for tourism along Highway 341; as such no organization profits from any vendor fees collected during the Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale (SM).
Communities, however, profit from increased tourism revenue such as hotel/motel tax collection, food and entertainment sales and fuel sales. Thousands of people travel Highway 341 during this event and the communities reap the economic benefit through increased revenue generated by tourism.
GIPA is the owner of the Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale(SM). In 2013 GIPA had "Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale"(SM) and "Peaches to the Beaches"(SM) service marked through the State of Georgia. Any unauthorized use of these service marks are an infringement upon GIPA's ownership of them.
Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale(SM) signs, banners and contest stamps are for RENT ONLY and are property of the Telfair County Chamber of Commerce and GIPA. If you have a sign or banner from years past and have not returned it to the Chamber, please do so. You must rent these signs again each year.
Please if you love the Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale(SM), continue to support it and your community by participating at an official site or as an official vendor, by purchasing official tee shirts, and most of all support the official vendors by shopping at the official sites/locations.
